You will leave this course as a commercially minded and enterprising individual with a greater understanding of the world that we live in and with a greater awareness of global issues and events.
The course is split into 2 themes:

Theme 2: Building a Business
2.1 Growing the business
2.2 Making marketing decisions
2.3 Making operational decisions
2.4 Making financial decisions
2.5 Making human resource decisions
Assessment
This course is 100% examination assessed and has 2 exams (Theme 1 and Theme 2). Each exam is 1 hour 45 minutes long and consists of multiple choice, short answer and long answer questions.
Key skills
You will learn how to produce financial documents and promotional materials for a business, enhancing your numeracy skills and harnessing your creativity. You will also have the opportunity to develop your extended writing and time-management skills through meeting regular deadlines as well as improving your interpersonal and communication skills through discussion and presentation tasks.
This course goes well with any other subject and the skills you will develop will not only benefit you during your time at school but also in your journey beyond Windsor High School and Sixth Form.
