Windsor Student Nominated for the Mayor's Award!

We are very proud to announce that one of our students in Year 10 has been nominated for the prestigious Mayors Award for her work in the community, and we are pleased to say that she has made the shortlist into the final three!  Well done Katie! 

Katie's Story
Katie is 14 years old and has assisted with the setting up and running of Halesowen's annual carnival since 2015. This started with her volunteering to help set up and clear the field, but Katie's involvement has increased every year since.

During December she walked the streets with Halesowen North Santa Run, helping to raise £1,500 for charities including Birmingham Children's Hospital. 

Katie also helps to teach Kung Fu to three to five year olds at her Martial Arts club twice a week.
