Former Windsor Sixth Form student Lana Worrall returns to school for her University placement within the Dance department.
Lana studied Dance at our Sixth Form and is now studying a degree in Dance and Applied Practice at the University of Worcester. She is in her final year of studies and is back to gain valuable experience working within the Dance department for her placement which is a total of 100 hours.
Lana spends time in both the practical and theory Dance lessons and also has the opportunity to lead parts of the class, such as the warm up routine. She will also be assisting and mentoring students through their essay work as she was in a similar position herself only a few years ago!
Lana said she is enjoying being back in a familiar environment and is enjoying learning valuable skills from her previous teachers. She also said that "Windsor is supportive and welcoming and that the department has been really accommodating for my placement needs". Lana's future career aspirations is to study her PGCE and become a Dance Teacher after her studies.
We wish Lana all the best with her future plans!
