Staff enjoyed a coffee and cake on Friday last week at the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. There was an array of home made donated cakes, including rocky road, lemon drizzle, banana bread, victoria sponge, chocolate marble cake and cookies. Staff queued out of the canteen and down the corridor to purchase some of the delicious goodies on sale!
There was also a "guess the amount of sprinkles on Colin the Caterpillar cake" competition with the winning prize being a cake in the shape of a skull made by Food students. Mr Hussain was the lucky winner, guessing 933 sprinkles, which was the closest guess to the actual figure of 937!
An amazing £510 was raised throughout the morning. Thank you to all the staff who gave up their time to bake cakes, and to those who bought them!
