At Windsor Academy Trust we aim to ensure that students can perform, choreograph and critically appreciate the work of professional dance practitioners and their own work.
Exam Board: AQA
The study of dance as an art form develops students aesthetically and creatively. Dance also supports learning across a range of subjects. As performers, students develop confidence and self-esteem as well as self and body awareness, sensitivity to others and team working skills. Effective performance requires physical effort and the determination to succeed and improve.
