SEND Careers

Please find some useful information for parents/carers and SEND students when considering employment, education and training and next steps for students after year 11.

Connexions Services:

At Windsor we invite careers advisors from Connexions Dudley to come into school to give specific, tailored and impartial guidance to our students. We prioritise EHCP and other SEND students for appointments and schedule them earlier within the school year where possible.

In addition, if you feel your son or daughter requires a second Connexions adviser appointment or support completing an application form please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Brookes (jbrookes@windsor.windsoracademytrust.org.uk).

SEND parent/carer coffee mornings:

During SEND parent/carer coffee mornings we can make a careers advisor or our school careers leader present to take queries or support with specific questions related to employment, education and training for your young person. These will initially be offered at year 9 and year 11 coffee mornings.
