Windsor student carried Baton for Commonwealth Games

Windsor has been celebrating one of our student's achievements over the summer, when he carried the Baton for the Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay.

Q'Ue has represented the school as both a Sports Leader and a competitor, assuming the leadership role naturally and guiding younger children with ease and friendliness. He is an excellent role model and ambassador for the school, always smiling and always helpful.

Mrs Jones, our School Games Organiser, who nominated Q'Ue to be a Baton Bearer, said:

Q'Ue has gained a reputation as a 'can do' student. He meets challenges head on and will always see the positive side to any situation.

We were all very proud of Q'Ue being selected to take on this wonderful honour, and he came back into school in September buzzing about being part of the event!
