Windsor Annual Awards Celebration

The Windsor Annual Awards ceremonies took place on Thursday 11th July for years 7-10.
We were privileged to have as our guest speaker ex-Windsor student Matthew Ponter. Matthew was a student at Windsor from 2010 - 2017, and whilst at school he started volunteering at Halesowen Town FC. He is now a sports commentator having worked at Hereford FC and now at Wolverhampton Wanderers Women. Matthew’s advice to students was to take every opportunity you can to enable you to get the career you want.
We also heard from Mr Lanckham who gave a review of the year and celebrated the students and their achievements.
Students were nominated for awards by their teachers for excelling in subjects such as Maths, Art, PE and Science. There were also House Awards and awards for Effort and Endeavour. It was fantastic to see students collecting their awards with parents and carers watching - a proud moment!
We were also treated to some spectacular musical performances by some of our students, with the help of Mr Jasper and Mrs Richards.
Headteacher, Mr Lanckham said:
The awards ceremonies are always a highlight of the Windsor calendar. It is great to celebrate the students successes over the last academic year. Well done to everyone!”
It was a magical event celebrating a fantastic year for our students.
