School Games Platinum Award

We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games Platinum Award for the 2023/24 academic year!

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward school for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success. 

Our application was written based on our commitment to extra-curricular PE and the scale of our offer to all students. This includes morning, lunchtime and afterschool clubs across a wide range of sporting and dance activities. 

Mr Hickman, Faculty Director of PE said:

Being awarded the Sports Mark Platinum again is a tremendous honour and a testament to our exceptional extracurricular program. We are immensely proud of this recognition. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our dedicated students and PE & Dance staff for their hard work and commitment.
