School band plays at The River Rooms in Stourbridge

On Wednesday 26th October one of our school bands, E22, took part in a Fred M Promotions Student Showcase event at The River Rooms in Stourbridge. Our six young musicians performed a 20 minute set in front of an audience made up of over 200 people, alongside other school bands as part of a fantastic evening of live music.
Mr Jasper, the Curriculum Leader of Music at Windsor High School and Sixth Form, attended the event and had this to say:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a young band and young musicians to perform at a professional live music venue, on a professional stage in front of a real audience. The students in E22 have worked really hard rehearsing their set at school; it is really rewarding to get to see them perform on stage. Fred M Promotions have offered us future performance opportunities at The River Rooms. Our Year 13 band (who are currently trying to choose a name) will be appearing at the next Student Showcase event on Wednesday 14th December."
