3rd July 2025
Rounders finals night at Windsor Tuesday 1st July
Both U13 and U15 won their Rounders leagues and qualified to go through to rounders final night.
Windsor U15 team played Wombourne in the semi final. Windsor only had 8 players in this game. The girls batting and fielding were awesome. Wombourne scored 4 and Windsor 7 after the first innings. Wombourne went into bat for their second innings and scored 1 more rounder, meaning Windsor had won the game 5-7 without having their second batting innings with one less player.
Windsor went on to play Crestwood in the final and Hagley played Wombourne in the 3rd/4th place playoff. Windsor were at full strength for the final.
Windsor knew they were going to be tested and worked together as a team, taking phenomenal catches and stumping players out. The final finished 12 1/2 - 11 1/2 with Windsor the victorious school. Congratulations go to the whole team who have finished 1st out of 19 secondary schools in the borough.
Windsor U13 team played against Wombourne and Crestwood in a triangular final.
Wombourne v Crestwood 6 1/2 - 12
Wombourne v Windsor 51/2 - 9 1/2
Windsor v Crestwood
The girls played with 8 players in their final game against Crestwood and showed great support and determination, they finished a deserved Runners up to Crestwood. The girls have grown in confidence and showed maturity beyond their years.
The PE department are super proud of you all.
