21st January 2025

From January 8th to 10th, 70 talented young artists from seven WAT secondary schools, including ten exceptional students from Windsor, embarked on a transformative three-day residential at Ingestre Hall. This renowned arts centre provides a unique and enriching environment where students explore their creativity through a diverse range of expressive arts.

Students, praised for their talent and exemplary behavior, thrived throughout the experience. The Head of Centre at Ingestre Hall expressed immense admiration, stating:

What an amazing cohort of students we had brought and that all of the tutors had commented on how focused, supportive of each other, and how well mannered their conduct was both in and out of workshop sessions"

Mr Cotterill, Head of Performance at Windsor Academy Trust, shared his enthusiasm:

For me this is the highlight of the school year so far. Not only the showcasing of outstanding work  performance work but the whole family atmosphere amongst the students, the friendships they built ,despite being from different schools and their total support of each other."

Mrs McLaughlin, Head of Dance, echoed this sentiment:

It was wonderful to watch the students evolve and develop across the three days. They went as seven schools, but by the end of the residential we were one family supporting and helping each other. The talent was at such a high level and everyone was excited to see what had been created on the last days' sharing."
