European Day of Languages Week

Our MFL Faculty celebrated European Day of Languages with a full week of activities for students last week.

International themed assemblies took place, and included a video montage of Windsor staff saying Hello in lots of different languages. There was also a language based quiz for Tutor time.

A Greek taster session was held for students who are interested in learning something a little bit different. It was a great session and thank you to Miss Sidiropoulou for her expertise during the session!

Finally, the Faculty is running a t-shirt design competition for students which will be used as part of next year's European Day of Languages celebrations. Students are encouraged to design a t-shirt which shows the importance of embracing different languages and cultures. Watch this space for news of the winner!
