Year 13 Economics students experienced a fascinating blend of economic and political insights on their recent trip to London. The Bank of England Museum provided a hands-on look at monetary policy and even the chance to try lifting a gold bar!
A ride on the Elizabeth Line offered a glimpse into a major infrastructure project.
The highlight, perhaps, was their visit to the Houses of Parliament, where they toured the chambers, observed proceedings in both the Commons and Lords, and participated in a policy workshop with Antonia Bance MP. The students engaged in thoughtful discussions about current economic and political issues, making the trip a valuable extension of their studies.
