Easter Ski Trip to Austria April 2026

This April 2026, students and staff from Windsor High School embarked on an incredible journey to the picturesque slopes of Austria for an unforgettable Easter ski trip. With the promise of adventure, excitement, and new experiences, this trip was a perfect blend of learning and fun, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

A First-Time Experience for Many
For several students, this trip marked their first encounter with skiing on snow. As they stepped onto the pristine slopes surrounded by breath taking alpine scenery, the thrill was palpable. From fitting into ski boots to mastering the basics of skiing, each moment was filled with laughter and learning. The initial apprehension quickly transformed into exhilaration as students took their first runs down the slopes, with instructors guiding them every step of the way.

Progression on the Slopes
Throughout the week, many students showcased remarkable progress, moving confidently onto blue and red runs, demonstrating their newfound skills. Some adventurous souls even ventured off-piste, taking on challenges that pushed their limits and added an extra layer of excitement to their skiing experience.

We were even blessed with some sunshine during our trip, allowing everyone to develop their goggle tans while enjoying the beautiful alpine scenery!

Karaoke
As if the skiing wasn't enough fun, students also enjoyed a lively karaoke night with their teachers. The atmosphere was electric as everyone took turns singing  songs, bonding over shared laughter and musical talent. However, in a twist of fate, the video of this memorable night has strangely disappeared, leaving us with only fond memories of the performances.

The trip was not just about skiing; it was about creating lasting memories with friends and teachers. Students captured countless photos, from triumphant moments of conquering slopes to hilarious tumbles that guaranteed laughter. These shared experiences fostered a sense of camaraderie that extended beyond the ski trip, strengthening friendships and connections within the school community.
