Our Art classes are producing some amazing work this term.
Year 8 students have been looking at the work of Sarah Suplina/Snippets and have created some beautifully textured, collaged birds (below).
Year 9 Graphics Design students have been studying the artist Tim Marrs and have designed their own creative responses which you can see below.
They have also been working hard creating graphics outcomes inspired by visual artist, Julian Opie. Some of their fantastic creations are below.
Miss Dovey said,
Across the Art and Graphics department, we aim to give students a wide variety of skills and experiences within the arts, preparing them for a creative future. Many artists use the work of others to produce their own work so we always feel it is important to research and attempt the work in the same way as the artist themselves. Here the students explored the work of Sarah Suplina, Tim Marrs and Julian Opie. Windsor students are brimming with ideas and creativity and enjoy exploring different media from Photoshop to collage, pencil crayon, watercolour and clay."
