This week Windsor High School and Sixth Form hosted An Easter Celebration of Dance at Stourbridge Town Hall. This annual event celebrates dance and showcases what Windsor students, wider Windsor Academy Trust students, local schools and dance groups can do.
There were performances from students ranging from primary school age to our Windsor Alumni Dance Company. There were some captivating performances such as "Diamonds" from the Windsor BTEC Dance group, "Youth" from Windsor Olympus Academy, and the finale of "A Chorus Line" from the Windsor Senior Dance Company.
As well as proud parents and carers, we were also fortunate to have the Mayor of Dudley and her Consort in attendance. It was a fantastic evening and our dancers showcased their hard work, talent and enthusiasm, as well as creativity and resilience.
Some Windsor students also helped out as Sound and Lighting Technicians, ensuring everything was perfect for the dancers on stage.
Mr Lanckham said after the event:
Another outstanding performance from all the dancers. The collaboration between local schools and dance academies has yet again brought together a phenomenal show. Well done to everyone involved."
Thank you to all the dancers, students and staff who were involved in putting on such a great and memorable show!
