9th March 2026
What an incredible week it has been for our performing arts community! On Wednesday, the spotlights at Stourbridge Town Hall shone brightly as we hosted our 16th annual ‘An Easter Celebration of Dance.’ It was a true family affair, bringing together talented performers from across the Windsor Academy Trust. From the first leaps of the matinee to the final bows of the evening, the energy was electric, and the talent on display was nothing short of inspiring.
This year’s showcase was a beautiful reminder of how dance connects us all, regardless of age or experience. The stage saw a remarkable range of performers:
The Future Stars: Our youngest dancers from Key Stage 1 (some just 7 years old!) charmed the audience with their enthusiasm and skill.
The WAT Family: Nine different schools from across our Trust joined forces to share their unique creativity.
The Legacy: We were thrilled to welcome back the Windsor Alumni Dance Company. Seeing former Sixth Form students return to the stage proves that a passion for dance at Windsor lasts a lifetime.
With both the matinee and evening shows performing to sold-out audiences, the atmosphere was buzzing. We were also honored to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress of Dudley, who joined us to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our young people.
The sheer variety of dance styles and the sophisticated choreography left us all in awe. It wasn’t just a show; it was a testament to the discipline, teamwork, and artistic flair that our students pour into their rehearsals week after week.
A massive thank you to the staff, parents, and volunteers who made this event possible. Most importantly, a huge congratulations to our dancers—you represented the Windsor spirit beautifully!
