Successful Trade Fair for Young Enterprise

On Saturday 4th December 2021, the Young Enterprise team participated in a Christmas Trade Fair in the Stourbridge Ryemarket. This was the first phase of the Young Enterprise Enrichment experience.

This year the Young Enterprise group is called ‘Heartfelt’ and the main aim of the group is to raise awareness regarding positive parent and child relationships. They made kits for families to make with their loved ones, a festive way to spend time together. The kit contained two felt hearts, a piece of paper, a piece of thread, a ribbon, some wool and an instructions sheet telling you how to construct the product. The families stitch the two hearts together with a little message to be written inside making a promise to each other for the year ahead.

The Young Enterprise group sold many of their kits and represented the Sixth Form exceptionally well with planned mystery shoppers commenting on the powerful message the team were able to exhibit in their product. We would like to congratulate the Young Enterprise team for all their hard work and effort that they put into their products!
